First Gaming Laptop Computer Models with 3 NVIDIA GPUs

The world’s first gaming laptop computer models with 3 graphic processing units from NVIDIA come from Toshiba and are introduced in the Qosmio line as Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q708 and Toshiba Qosmio X305-Q706.
What makes these notebooks the most powerful portable gaming systems are the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M GPU and 2 NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTS GPUs, which allow you to switch between the integrated graphics power of the GeForce 9400M when you need to perform standard operations, and the 2 discrete GeForce 9800M GTS GPUs with NVIDIA SLI technology, in order to enable maximum performance for high-demanding applications such as gaming or professional image processing.
The NVIDIA Hybrid SLI technology permits quieter operations by transferring the graphics processing responsibility to the integrated card, in case you don’t need to perform intensive tasks.
"We wanted to deliver an extreme-performance gaming machine that gives gamers a complete, non-compromising system in a laptop form factor," said Carl Pinto, vice president of product development, digital products division for Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. "The combination of the NVIDIA GPUs and chipset allowed us to achieve a high level of performance, quality and flexibility that our customers are asking for, at a competitive starting price of $1,999."
